Slashroot — What your IT team meant to say
This blog is a place where I share thoughts, experiences, and lessons learned from working in the IT industry—focusing on the challenges businesses face when technology, security, and reality meet.
Over the years, I’ve noticed that many business and technology topics are explained either in a highly theoretical way or through a purely product-driven lens. In both cases, something important gets lost: how do you actually use technology to solve real business problems, manage compliance and risk, and keep operations running when things go wrong—often with limited or shrinking budgets?
That’s what this blog is about.
Some posts will explore topics like cyber resilience, recovery strategies, data protection, and digital sovereignty. Others may focus on architecture decisions, operational challenges, cloud and digital platforms, or simply lessons learned from real-world environments. Not everything will be deeply technical, and not everything will be high-level strategy—most topics will sit somewhere in between.
The goal is simple: demystify technology concepts and connect them to real business challenges and decisions.
No marketing talk. No hype. Just practical perspectives on making technology work where it actually matters.
If that resonates with you, feel free to follow along.
